Image Converter
Convert images between common formats in a few clicks.
Turn iPhone HEIC photos into JPGs that open anywhere. Convert a whole batch at once, choose JPG, PNG or WebP, and keep your photos private: nothing is uploaded.
How it works
Drop in your HEIC or HEIF photos, or click to choose them. You can add many at once.
Choose JPG, PNG or WebP and set the quality. Changing an option re-converts every photo.
Download photos one by one, or all of them together as a zip.
About this tool
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the format iPhones and iPads use for photos by default. It stores images at roughly half the size of a JPG with similar quality, which is great for your phone's storage but not for sharing: many Windows apps, websites, upload forms and older software can't open HEIC files.
Converting to JPG gives you a file that works everywhere. This converter decodes HEIC directly in your browser, so it's as private as converting on your own computer. Location, camera and date information isn't copied into the converted file, which makes it safer to share photos online.
Drop in a whole camera roll export and download every photo as a single zip.
JPG for compatibility, PNG for lossless edits, WebP for smaller web images.
GPS, camera and timestamp data aren't carried over to the new files.
Photos are decoded on your device. The decoder downloads only when you add a file.
