JSON Schema Generator
Generate a JSON Schema from example JSON, then validate data against it.
Set up MCP servers once and get the exact config for every AI client. Add local or remote servers, then copy the JSON or command for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf or Zed.
How it works
Add a server: a name, then either a command (like npx -y package) or a remote URL.
Add environment variables or headers if the server needs API keys.
Pick your client, copy the config into the file shown (or run the command), and restart the client.
About this tool
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets AI assistants use external tools and data, such as your files, a database, GitHub or a SaaS product, through small servers. Every client stores MCP servers differently: Claude Desktop and Cursor use an mcpServers object, VS Code uses servers with typed entries, Windsurf calls the URL serverUrl, Zed uses context_servers, and Claude Code can be set up with a project file or a CLI command.
Describe each server once, either a local command such as npx or uvx with arguments and environment variables, or a remote HTTP or SSE URL with headers, and this tool writes the right shape for each client. It warns when a config contains API keys so you don't commit secrets, and for VS Code it moves secrets into prompted inputs automatically. Client formats change, so each one links to its official docs.
Claude Desktop, Claude Code (.mcp.json and CLI), Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and Zed.
stdio commands with args and env, or HTTP/SSE URLs with headers.
Flags API keys and tokens; VS Code output uses password inputs instead.
Paste a full command line and it's split into command and arguments for you.
FAQ
On macOS at ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json and on Windows at %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json. Restart Claude Desktop after editing it.
Claude Desktop's config file starts local processes, so this tool uses the open-source mcp-remote bridge (npx mcp-remote <url>). Many remote servers can also be added as connectors in Claude's settings.
They're stored in plain text on your machine. Don't commit them to a shared repository; prefer environment variables, or VS Code's prompted inputs.
A stdio server is a program the client starts on your computer. An HTTP (streamable HTTP) or SSE server runs remotely and the client connects to its URL. SSE is the older remote transport.
No. Everything you type is processed in your browser and never leaves your device. Drafts are saved only in this browser's local storage so you can come back to them.
